A pleasant surprise – Amazing value! 🌟 This hotel offers the **best value for money** by far. It is incredibly quiet and spotless, both in the spacious rooms and the common areas. The bed is super comfortable, and the blackout curtains are perfect for blocking out the daylight. Another huge plus is the practical bathroom, which features full-sized **Dove toiletries** instead of those annoying single-use packets. Highly recommended for a peaceful, budget-friendly, and high-quality stay!

After my flight was canceled, I made a quick decision to take a shuttle to the Holiday Inn Express. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was advised to take a quick dinner of Mac and cheese and ice cream , to my room, as having had very little sleep, for the past couple of days, it was perfect! The shower was great, as well as the bed. The breakfast was also very good.Thank you for making a tired travel feel comfortable and relaxed.

I only stayed one night but the entire property was extremely clean and bright. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was great. Good variety of food and having healthy options (oatmeal & yogurt) was a pleasant surprise.

This is a newer hotel right near RSW airport and was a great option for our super early morning flight the next day. Check-in was super fast and staff was professional. The lobby was very nice, clean and functional. Our favorite thing was the fresh coffee available any time. The machine grinds it on demand and they even have decaf! It was really good. Our room was so clean and comfortable. Good lighting, we liked the shades, one for light filtering and one for room darkening. The beds were very clean and super comfortable, we slept great. The usb charging between the beds didn't work but the regular outlets did and there was plenty of other places to charge. The bathroom was clean and had a good amount of towels. I loved that there were plenty of Dove products (shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hand soap and body lotion). The sink was clean but had a bit of a smell of mildew. But other than that we were very happy with the room. We used the pool which was nice, but didn't see the pool towels and no one mentioned that. Later we found them near the pool entrance. They could use more seating in the pool area although it's not a very big area. Check-out was super fast and easy. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here and the value for what we received. I only wish we could've stayed for the free breakfast!

A comfortable and well-kept outpost this stay was, strong in the ways of rest and efficiency. Check-in was quick and easy—no lines to battle, no patience tested. Balance restored immediately. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and sleep came easily, guided by the Force itself. The room was clean, modern, and thoughtfully laid out, with a room safe included for added peace of mind. The Greener Stay option earns extra respect here. When staying multiple nights, it rewards you with 500 bonus points per night—an excellent incentive for travelers who like to tread lightly while earning a little extra along the way. Breakfast being included is always a welcome bonus and made mornings simple and efficient. Overall, a very nice stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites—reliable, comfortable, and exactly what a weary traveler seeks at the end of a long journey. Worthy of the holocrons, this one is.

To be honest, the total score rating for this hotel should be higher. I read through the negative reviews and none of them made sense based on our experience. Here’s your review cleaned up for flow and clarity, keeping your tone, detail, and observations intact: --- We stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Myers Airport, and overall this is a newer hotel with a modern design that shows both outside and inside. The downstairs area has large open spaces and a clean, contemporary feel, especially in the breakfast area. The rooms are well designed in a typical large chain layout, but they feel thoughtfully put together. The finishes are simple but durable. The bathrooms in particular stood out as being well built, with fixtures that are clearly meant to last. The room has tile flooring at the entrance and in the bathroom, with carpet in the sleeping area. Everything felt clean and modern. The beds are extremely comfortable and feel upscale. The headboards run across most of the wall and include all the lighting controls, which is a nice touch. On the opposite side, there’s a long desk and dresser area with a dedicated space for suitcases. The refrigerator is a good size, and there’s a basic microwave. Overall, the room layout is very functional. One thing I appreciated is that we had two beds and they actually provided four full-size bath towels. Most places only give three, which is always frustrating. Soundproofing also seemed very good. The hotel felt safe, quiet, and very clean throughout. There’s a nice TV with plenty of cable channels, excellent blackout curtains with a separate privacy shade, and plenty of outlets for charging devices. The room also includes a simple alarm clock. Staffing at the front desk seemed minimal, often just one person, but everything ran smoothly. Housekeeping did an excellent job based on both the room and the condition of the hallways and common areas. Breakfast is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express, but it was well maintained and the area itself is bright, open, and very clean. The food is in a separate serving area. Offerings included scrambled eggs, sausage patties and links, sausage gravy with biscuits, juices, cinnamon rolls, pastries, bread, bagels, and a push-button pancake machine. The coffee machines make basic espresso-style drinks like Americanos, both regular and decaf. The only negative during breakfast was some of the other guests. People were standing around eating, grazing while serving themselves, reaching into food areas, and not always using utensils properly. That’s not the hotel’s fault, but it did take away from the experience. There’s a small convenience area with drinks and snacks. Parking is plentiful and free, and they give you a pass to display on your dashboard. I read one review saying that the Cubs don't drain. When I started the sour the tub was filling up and not draining until I opened the drain plug and a drain just fine. No drainage problems in my experience. The actual water pressure was better than a lot of hotels and they have instant hot water so that there was hot water even at the busiest morning time. They even use a model shower head that delivers water and heavy droplets so be soaking power of the water head is excellent. The air conditioning is a large floor-style unit controlled by a wall thermostat and worked very well. The hotel uses bulk pump style Dove products for soap, shampoo, and conditioner, which are good quality. There’s a small in-room coffee setup, although I didn’t notice any creamer, but coffee and creamer are available downstairs at all times. The location is quiet, safe, and somewhat removed. You won’t be walking to restaurants or stores, but most places are within a 10 to 20 minute drive. It’s a good option if you want something quiet clean, modern, and a bit out of the way. For location, don't take my word, look at Google maps. Overall, this is a well-designed, clean, and comfortable hotel that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a great stay at the Fort Mayer Hotel. It’s only about 15 minutes from the airport, which made getting in and out super convenient. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The pool area was a really nice bonus — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding. My room was spotless and comfortable, exactly what you hope for after a long day of travel. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I’d happily stay here again.

I requested a quiet room and got one right next to the elevator! Even after calling ahead. Even after arriving at 1, tried to check-in, but was told that check -in is at 3pm only. I told them that I couldn't get back until 4pm and again requested a quiet room. The lady at the front desk told me that its possible but it may require some work and she may get busy and not get it done. So requesting a quiet room gets you a room next to the elevator. Got it. I will say that I didn't hear parking lot noise at all, being on the 3rd floor. Moving on, the room itself had a modern feel, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom was very spacious and their shampoo, bodywash, conditioner and handwash were 'Dove' brand. Breakfast was good. They offered veggie or cheese omelets, biscuits (our favorite), gravy, pork sausage, milk, yogurt, cereal, individually wrapped muffins. Juice included apple, cranberry, orange. Fresh fruit included bananas, and oranges. They offer fresh brewed coffee with French vanilla of hazelnut creamer as well as others. The employee at breakfast was too talkative to me for my liking (I hadn't had coffee yet.) She came running and shouting instructing me that the lids can stay up so I can serve myself which is helpful but I was done serving breakfast atp. So why the big show. I smiled and said thanks and moved along and came back for juice when she's in my face again asking if I know what the tidbits on my kids crocs are called. She was too loud and close in my space for my comfort. Especially with a smokers voice is not really what I'm into prior to eating a meal. Read the room and your customers. Overall the place itself was okay but personally, the staff can do better
